Toyota’s Future Concept Car FT-EV II With Zero Emission Revealed In Tokyo Motor Show

Toyota revealed its new plug-in electric concept car ‘Future Toyota Electric Vehicle’ FT-EV-II. We may feel that the car is too small, but the fact is that it can carry 4 people quite comfortably. The car with dimensions 1680mm width, 1490mm height and 2730mm length is clearly based on iQ, and don’t have any brake pedals or accelerators, rather it uses a joystick with a drive-by-wire technology which creates a wide open space in the front. Lithium batteries are used to charge the car and is placed under the floor, and a fully charged battery can goes upto 56 miles, and can attain a top speed of 62mph.

The interior replaces all conventional design technics, as it looks like 1970′s storyboard. The FT-EV II seemed to be the car of future and it can automatically download audio/visual specifically geared towards the car, and once plugged-in it can upload the contents to a central computer. The exterior is unchanged except some gold detailing adds a flash touch than the first FT-EV. The car has sliding doors on both sides, and very thin shell seats.

But they did not release any detaiss about the recharge time, weight, motor size and price.
